For 43 years, the fire in the STADTKRUG has been burning in the open beech wood fireplace, which gives the grill restaurant its special atmosphere.
After more than 43 years, the city mug is changing hands. The fire in the Buchholz grill continues to burn for you with Dimi & Lydia. Irmtraut (Irm) & Peter say goodbye to you and leave their fire burning in the living room stove.
Inspired by the Idar-Oberstein spit roast culture, pan roast from pork neck and roast beef from Argentine Angus, as well as fillet and peeled pork ribs, are prepared over an open fire.
In times of “half-fat”, “you may”, “light” etc., one should also be allowed to succumb to the needs of the hearty taste.
Add to that a well-kept KARLSBERG Urpils and the picture of rustic enjoyment is rounded off.

In our dining room there are up to 40 people.
Beech wood grill
Our open beech wood grill in the restaurant is the highlight of our Restraurant. while they wait for their food, they can watch it being grilled on an open flame.

On our well-kept outdoor terrace, up to 16 people can be accommodated in summer.
