For 43 years, the fire has been burning in the open beechwood fireplace at STADTKRUG, giving the grill restaurant its special atmosphere.<\/p>\n

After more than 43 years, Stadtkrug is changing ownership. The fire in the beechwood grill will continue to burn with Dimi & Lydia for you. Irmtraut (Irm) & Peter bid you farewell and will let their fire burn on in their home fireplace.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the Idar-Oberstein spit roast tradition, pork neck steaks, Argentinian Angus roast beef, as well as pork fillet and spare ribs, are prepared over an open fire.<\/p>\n

In times of “low-fat,” “light,” and “diet” products, one should also be able to indulge in the rich flavors of hearty cuisine.
Pair it with a well-poured KARLSBERG Urpils, and the image of rustic enjoyment is complete.<\/p>\n
